Playford Lakes Golf Club (PLGC) uses the 1Golf handicapping system by MiGolf. The software has an online booking system which we use for our three 18 hole competitions held each week.

The main competition is held each Saturday with tee times commencing at 07:00 to 08:30.

The other two competitions are held on Sundays and Tuesdays. These competitions normally run between 07:00 until 08:30 however, this does change at different times of the year because of daylight saving.

Everyone is expected to use the booking system. This allows you to choose who you play with and when, if the time slot is available.

When you join the club you will be allocated a golf link number. All Playford Lakes Golf Link numbers begin with 50307. The second 5 digits represent your member number. Your member number is your Username when accessing the 1Golf handicapping system. You do not need to use leading zero's. If your member number is 00001 then your Username would be 1. Your initial Password is the day and month of your birthday. If you were born on the 5th of January your Password would be 0501, 20 September it would be 2009. Passwords are case sensitive and you do need to use the leading zero's. The first time you login to the system you will be prompted to change your Password. This is strongly recommended for security reasons especially as you can't change your Username.

If you are a new member and you do not have a handicap, you need to submit three cards where you played 18 holes. The card needs to be signed by yourself and another person that holds a Golf Australia handicap. The three cards can be played on any official golf course. Please give the cards to the handicapper or a BTM staff member in the club rooms. It's a good idea to write FOR HANDICAP on the three cards.

Type in your Username and Password and you will be presented with the following page. If you have problems logging in you may have to install Google-Chrome as it's the recommended browser. Many others don't seem to work properly.



Notice the menu in the top right corner, three horizontal lines. Click on it to see the menu.



Click on Bookings and you will be taken to the booking page.



Select the open competition you wish to enter.
 

Click on Book Me and you will see a red x and a calendar under your name.

If for any reason you can't play at the time you have booked, please remove your booking. This will give other members a chance to play in that time slot.

All you have to do is click on the little red x below your name and your name will be removed.

If you make bookings for other players you are also able to delete them. They can always delete
themselves. You can't delete other players unless you have administration privileges.

Playford Lakes Golf Club uses the MiScore scoring system. This allows you to use your smart phone for scoring instead of a paper score card. It also has a built in GPS to show your distances from the green. You can submit your partners score directly from your phone. Your partner must also have MiScore to submit your score. If you partner does not use MiScore he/she will need to use a paper score card and manually enter their score on the computer in the club house. Both scores must be verified and signed before submitting scores. I recommend everyone purchases MiScore as it make life much easier when playing golf. It can also be used at other participating clubs. MiScore is free to download for Apple and Android and just under $20 per year to register it.
